Have you used your tokens and won anything?

I see so many people with millions of tokens and I wonder if anyone really goes and enters the drawings that you use your tokens for? And if you do have you won anything. I don't even have a million yet and want to wait till I'm over a mill to give it a shot but wanted to see if actually winning anything is a reality or just a fraud to get you to play more. What do you think?

I think the old-timers there quit using the tokens a long time ago. It's more a challenge to see how many you can get. No matter what it always seems to be someone no one ever heard of that wins the jackpot and other things. I just wish they would quit announcing every time someone wins a stupid hat. I'd like pogo better if they would just give up on the jackpots and drawings. Instead let you trade your tokens in for stuff at a greatly reduced price. Of course if they did that token spins would probably go down to almost nothing. The way it is now they act like they have to pay for them.

I agree with you they should allow users to trade their tokens for things in their store. I don't care much for the jackpot spins most of the time either seems like a waste when you play so long to finish a game like Canasta for example and then only get 30 tokens from the spin.

I also wish you could use the tokens to get things in the store too, I'd go for a mug, lol. I've entered the draws a few times, but never won anything, nothing with the jackpot spins either. I keep hoping one day I might get something, but I'm not holding my breathe for it, lol. I have used tokens for stuff for my little "me" person though, lol

i have never won anything but a wallpaper from pogo. i've been a member for about 10 years and am going to cancel my upgraded status pretty soon. i did win 30 free days to pogo from subway, but have not won anything from pogo itself. i dont mind, i dont play to win stuff, but it sure would be nice to know that they do pay out, you see all these jackpot totals and the names of people coming on the screen, but i've never been in the same room when someone wins or know of anyone winning at any time.

I've never have talked to anyone that has one anything big. My cousin won $5 one time. I never won anything. I would save up a few million and put them all on one of the drawings. Sadly it was a waste. I don't think it is a scam, but I think that odds of winning are really low. At any given time there are almost 200,000 people playing so there are a lot of people trying to win.

Hi Mj, Well, I have been a member of pogo for about four years now and like you say I had never used any of my tokens for any of the drawings. However, after accumulating over 10,000,000 tokens I decided to spend a few. I answered all of those tokens into drawings and won nothing. But, winning a jackpot on pogo is probably harder to do then winning the lottery. If you think about it, there are 300,000 people on pogo daily and generally we get a jackpot spin every two to 5 minutes.... That is a lot of jackpot spins! So, think of the thousands of spins that have to occur before a jackpot is given away. On the other hand, there has been a debate amongst pogo members as to whether they even payout the jackpots that they say they do. Since I have not won a jackpot and don't expect too, I cannot say with 100% certainty whether they are a scam or whether they are legit. I tend to believe that they are indeed legit, otherwise you would hear more stories and lawsuits and I have heard of people getting paid within 4 to 6 weeks. However, I will not hold my breath. Good luck to you and welcome to Mylot!

Well this is the eternal question between all pogo people. Nobody really agress on whether you can win or not. I do know of a person who won ten dollars from a JP spin, took her 6 months to get it. Lol. I have tried entering the drawings many times and have never won anything that way, but did win a 5 dollar gift certificate for EA Games a few years back. Never actually used it though. It is hard to find people who have won. But I do believe that pogo does actually give out the money. It is just almost impossible to win it because of the popularity of the site and how many people are actually playing on it hoping for the same thing. I wouldn't give up cause you never know you may be one of the lucky few, and I am hoping I will be too one day. Have fun on Pogo, there are great games and I wouldnt worry about the money too much. Take care.

I dropped 7,000,000 into a single drawing once. Never heard a word but one day I was checking my mail and I had won a prize. A bizarre prize it was for this era. It was a combination bottle opener - keychain :P As has been said already, it's a great site for gaming. I earned most of my tokens playing slots but my favourite area is the card rooms, Hearts, Spades, Cribbage etc ~Garm

I know of someone who won fifty dollars, but for me I haven't won anything, I do use the tokens to enter the drawings, I figured the tokens are there, and it is a shot at it so why not try it. It isn't going to cost me anything but a few minutes to use them and enter them, and hey I am enjoying the games I play that is why I am on pogo, since I would play games online whether or not I was on pogo so why not let the tokens go for the possible win of money.

I've been a member of Pogo for about 3 years now. I have a total accumulation of about 8 million tokens. I have spent about half of that on drawings (and some on my mini). I have yet to win anything other than wallpaper - which I heard are loaded with viruses. I have asked the question about the jackpot wins while in various rooms. Only once did someone say they knew of something who won a jackpot spin and it took that person about 4 months to receive their winnings. I think jackpot winnings are urban legends *grins* Regardless, it's those small graphical images that I'm addicted to collecting (aka, badges). Why? I have no clue. *chuckles*

I've tried to win a couple of times but never did. Gets frustrating after a while. Have to start winning them back again.
