True Bipartisanship in Congress

Prs. Obama and Spkr Pelosi both promised bipartisanship in the Stimulant Package. They were right, but not the way they meant it. Pelosi completely shut the Republicans on the committee out of the discussion and the vote on the floor was all Democrat.
The only bipartisanship that occured was AGAINST the wasteful pork-filled Stimulant Package.
Pelosi never intended to have any bipartisanship, but it was stuffed in her festering face.

If you were honest about this you'd have to admit it takes two to be bipartisan and the GOP is as guilty as the Democrats if not more so since they're now doing what they once accused the Dems of doing - being obstructionists. The President went to the Capitol several times and spent more time talking to the Republicans than to his own party. I think when you come down to it despite the fact that a Democrat won the white House and the Democrats expanded their majorities in both Houses of Congress the right will still accept nothing other than the conservative way that was soundly defeated.

If what the democrats are doing is corrupt and wrong then every ethical person on both sides should be opposing it.
There is so little good about this stimulant packange that every American should be opposing it.
It's nothing but a trillion in paybacks.
It is disgusting.

Why should we ever accept something that is as caustic to freedom as Marxism and trillion dollar bribes?

If the conservative way means NOT giving hundreds of billions in pork to ACORN, birth control, sodding federal grounds, etc., then you're right and there's no way I would support a politician who supported that crap. If the people in California had half a clue as to what Pelosi was doing she'd be out on her a$$.
