Guess I am a bit weird today. So much to ask about news. So if you are a news freak and watch news everyday you must know what is CNN and BBC. would you prefer CNN or BBC? which do you like more? and why.. if you don't watch them. where do you get the news from? other channels perhaps?

bbc - BBC World news program
I prefer the BBC. I find CNN to sensational and the news stories don't seem to be as well researched, or indepth. The BBC also seems to cover a wider range of International stories that are not just cetered around American politics. I also get quite a bit of good information from the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).

I prefer BBC because I find the coverage on BBC to be more universal and by that I mean covering a wide range of issues and from a variety of countries.I find that CNN tend to concentrate on issues that affect america .I find BBC also to be more unbiased in issues on such as the Israel-Palestine conflict while CNN tends to favor Israel as America tends to be pro-israel anyway.

I prefer CNN. My aunt works there, LOL. She usually gets us stuffs like the CNN t-shirt, ID laces, radios, tickets for different sporting events, etc. Well, of course, not just because of that. I think they prove themselves worthy and credible in giving us the latest news. They have the best reporters and I really see they're dedicated to be the number 1 news channel.

I live in India and we got over 20 news channel and international news channels like BBc, CNN, asia news and others too.. though i have watched both CNN and BBc i find BBC more reliable than CNn and i usually watch Zee news, Star news, Aaj tak as my fav news channels and dont have much faith in foreign news channels esp american ones as they show everything like American audience want to see in third world and not what is 100% truth. So if our on company cheats Indian are labelled cheats yet when Enron cheats it is one off case..sorry pls dont take offense i am just telling you why i trust CNN less.

I'm a news addict but I am addicted to fox. I am a conservative and they tend to report on more conservative issues plus they have a wider range of news than cnn tends to. I don't watch it though I just read it online at work and continuously refresh and reload all day! like I said, I'm an addict.

Hmm...I don't think I've ever watched BBC before, not that I recall of. I've watched CNN before though but I'm not really a news fan. Normally I'll just watch the local news station or just surf the net for news but I'm not really the type that must watch or have news or read the newspapers from front to back & back to front umpteen times, hahaIn fact we only buy newspapers once in a blue moon.
