why do most people think the devil is in control because you choice not to go

ok i couldn't get the whole thing in on the topic, i did a discussion about people who claims to be holy and treat others so wrong. i was told because i decide not to go to church because of people like this push me away, and i have other reasons why i don't, which is medcail for me and my wife, we feel we can't put into church, because of my back, and sitting comfortable, and my wife being half deaf, and her eyes, and dealing with crowds, so we can;t put into mass and get what we should get from it.
but i was told that devil makes us not to go church for these reason, too funny. no it's not from him, he don't want to play no more with me since i kicked his butt.
why do people say and bring up the devil to those who don't go to church? i am the nicest person you will ever will meet and the most honest person as well

It has been said by Jesus Christ. He said that if we don't put Jesus in our heart then devil will make his house there. Since at that time people didn't use to believe in Jesus, he made a place where he can make people believe him. That place is now called Church.
The fathers and Pops at Church used to repeat his words in their own way. Instead of saying, put Jesus in your heart, they say we have put Jesus in Church, you need to go there otherwise Devil will catch you!
This is what I understand! Its only my personal view.

but Jesus is in my heart and soul. i just choice not to go to church, but why because i choice not to go to church why does it anyone right to tell me the devil is in control of me?
that is my thing, and it also say in the bible in romman 99 thy don't have to atten church to be saved and worship God or Jesus

I am not a Christian but I can tell you that God or Jesus, as long as they are in your heart, no matter what devil does, he can't make a house in your heart.
The Pops and Fathers are doing their job. They need to spread the words of Jesus. They need to frighten people so that they come to the Church and have faith in God.
Not all people are like you. I always feel frightened that if I don't go to Temples, I would loose faith in God. So, I go there just for my believe!

I thinkit is called blind ignorance. They have been drilled with all their do's and don'ts and have been basically brainwashed to believe that their way is the only right way. Therefore, due to their lack of actual knowledge and understanding of the creator, they throw around accusations and misjudgments on those who chose a different path.

i agree with you 100%, if they would get to know others and see not all people are bad because they don't go to church

These people have had guilt pushed into them since they were kids,they have to show publicaly that they are not evil,my husband was brought up catholic and he did not want our son brought up the same way of hell fire and brimstone and guilt,my son is a nice person and would not hurt a fly because he knows it is wrong to do bad and we did not need to take him to church to learn that,although we do attend church on certain occasions and do beleave in god or at least his teachings we have wonderful friends who call and we all help each other out and no one I know is evil ,church goers or otherwise,it is the guilt they live with I feel sorry for them.

Going to church means being in the presence of God, thus it is not what the devil wants. As long as the devil can find something against you and your God like how Job went through then the devil will try to put something there to prevent you from going closer to God. So..as long as you go to church..whether you're able to participate to the fullest is up to you...because miracles are possible with God and with us who believe in Him by faith. Of course you might say that God is everywhere and always with you..but it is always special when in a church meeting as His presence comes down and fills the place, then you'll be able to really worship God together with everyone who believes in Him as one which is what God wants.
