A 87 yr old local opera actress is still on stage for the festival party with excellent performance. She is said to have strictly followed doctor's advice, not even a sip of wine.
Others, though shining for a moment, fade away quickly, for abuse of their advantages, and indulgence in unhealthy life. So, the answer to long term success is talent, diligence, and also SELF CONTROL.
Your opinion?

Yes, self control and self discipline are the hallmarks of those who value their careers and sacrifice the luxuries which would otherwise prove an impediment to their success. India`s greatest playback singer who is well known all over the world and has won several awards is such a simple and unassuming lady who has led a life of strict discipline and self control. No wonder she has been sought after by many music directors of films as even one song sung by her is enough to give prestige to their films. Her simple lifestyle is very rare because todays stars who shine briefly do not have the control over their lives as she has.
