I noticed this interest has no discussions at all, so I'll start one by asking? Are you a Christian musician? What do I mean? Here's a little background about me. Before I was a Christian, I played in the bar circuit here in Florida for a number of years. The usual stuff, pretty much standard classic rock'n roll, oh yes I did play country,(and western) for a bit and there was that time I played in a jazz band too, don't forget the pirate band I was in.....hmmm!I was asked by a few friends to help them at a tent meeting one night about 6 years ago. It was a paying gig but we had to play this type of Christian Praise and Worship music. I've never heard the music nor had a desire to hear any of it, but since it paid $$$ I did it. Long story short, that night changed my life literally! Actually it took another year and 1/2 before I got clean and sober and gave my life over to Christ. I continued to play the circuit but I never forgot the feeling I felt that winter night under the tent watching all those people praising and worshiping God!I eventually quit playing in the bars and such and started to do something more important with my music, call it a higher calling, or whatever. Anyway to quote an old Peter Frampton song, "Do You FEEL Like I Do?"

My husband plays the guitar, he did not play in bars or for the public, but he did dabble with his friends, as they did some ungodly things. He now plays the guitar for our churche's choir, and loves it so much. He is not the greatest player, but just knowing that he is lifting God's name up in music is a real inspiration for him. I am so glad you are doing what you are doing, keep it up. God bless
