We are known as the "Seafood capital of the Philippines". This is Roxas city, the palce of senator, president Manuel Roxas. And now his son Mar Roxas is coming out to follow his steps. Roxas City is also known to its cut flowers, & the sinadya sa Halaran Festival. What about your place? Can you share?

I am from Baguio and we are known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines and this February is the opening of our famous Baguio Flower Festival or the "Pangbenga". This 2009 we will also celebrate our city's Centennial anniversary.

Yes the City Government and other Social Groups are busy preparing with the celebration. Actually, today is the opening parade and the start of the market encounter in Melvin Jones. This year I think will be the biggest celebration because of the the Centennial year of Baguio and Panagbenga too.

Hello Lootch! I live in Davao City and we are known to be the Durian Capital of the Philippines. If we talked about Durian, everybody then knew it's Davao City. I can also say that it's one of the most safest place to live because our mayor did a good job for haunting pushers, snatchers and addicts.

It is good to know that we have still true leaders that want their place to be known as the safest and I bet one of the cleanest also. I have watched in TV and read in News papers that your Mayor is really eager to make his place a different one. Not to be called as the usual one or onli in the pilipins.

My City is a small City, which is next to Alabang and close to Paranaque and Manila, also Cavite. I can't say much about my hometown, but it was the cleanest and greenest City few years back. Less crimes, nice people, less pollution. Long ago, my City is filled by pineapples, that's why it was called Las Pinas, that means "pineapples". Living one part of the capital City, I'd definitely pick my place. I got peace of mind staying here. No worries for me.

hi everyone! Im from Makati and Taguig city! =) whats special here in my city? I think when it comes to industrial and technology i can say that these two city have these qualities. In taguig, the global city or better known as "the fort" offers alot of fun activites and places. We do have malls, hospitals "future st. lukes", schools, universities, activity place, open field, condos and hotels. Many foreigners are living at the Fort because of its enhancements when it comes to industry. Makati also have the ayala malls, offices, business locations, universities, and alot more. actually ayala makati is the center where all the businessmen gather and help each other.

woo, your question beats me because I can hardly tell what my hometown is proud of. Back to 10 to 15 years ago, my hometown, Shenyang City in China was known for its industry pollution. It once was the 4th most polluted city in the world. Can you imagine that? And fourteen years ago, that was in 1995, when i stepped into Tiexi District, which is the pollution center, I could hardly breathe and coughed a lot the moment I cross the diving line between other districts and Tiexi District. Fortunately, in recently years, aroud seven or eight years ago, the once dirty district has turned into a prosperous land and area full of grassland and parks. The smoking factories are gone forever. The quality of the air has improved thoroughly. Turning to another aspect, Shenyang City is an ancient capital city. Several ancient empirors had established their capitals and built their tombs in my hometown. Though there is no high mountain and sea, this place is referred to as a bsin of treasure because it's far far away from flood, storm, drought, earthquake, tornadoo and some extreme weather and natural disaters.

Zamboanga City is known as Asia's Latin City. I don't know why because the has been recognized with that title just few years ago. The city was also known as the City of Flowers. The city is predominantly Christian despite it's located in Mindanao. We speak Chavacano here with traces from the Spanish language. We're are proud of our seafoods too because they're abundant and cheap here.
