Meditation first and foremost relaxes the brain. Normally our brain is in alpha state of intense activity. As the Gita says na hi kashchit kShaNamapi jAti tiShThatyakarmakR^it = Not one second can pass without anybody doing something. Only that you must include the incessant thought processes also as work. Yes, the brain does get tired and fagged out often thinking useless things. Now, how do you silence the brain? Through the practice of meditation. You give a good rest to the brain in properly done meditation. The second benefit of meditation is on the body. The heartbeat and BP also comedown as you are de-stressing. This again lets you feel rested. The breathing becomes deeper and longer. This increases the blood purification. But a very recent science publication extols shallow breathing! The third benefit is: Our minds are conditioned to always behave logically. Our current education system is to blame/laud for this. This expectation of our mind for everything t o be logically in place, places a very heavy toll on the brain which is the link to our consciousness. Our sub-conscious thinks in imagery and illogic is its way. Meditation releases this compulsion to be logically consistent. This-the release from the restriction of logicality- enhances creativity. Thus one feels more creative if he meditates on a continuous basis.

My first level I must did : draw breath - hold up- exhale-holdup each 4 pulse. my second level I must did at 7 pulse. and thirtd level at 12 pulse. Nowadays I do it likely processing not breathe. I feel only pure oxigen in my lung. Before this practice, I have disease af asthma and this time have recovered. Happy to hear your best experiences
