The Nikon D90 DSLR has a brand new feature which many feel should be the new standard n all high-end digital cameras. That is the D-Movie function that allows the camera to capture HD video at resolutions of 720p at 24 fps in motion JPEG format. Prosumer cameras have had this feature for ages. But when you couple this video feature with a DSLR set of interchangeable lenses and high resolutions, it will enable one to capture professional looking footage in numerous creative ways! Sporting a new Nikon DX-format CMOST image sensor, the D90 boast an impressive 12.3 megapixel. It wide range of extended ISOs ranging from 100 to 6400 allows you to extend your shooting ranges as well. Coupled with a Live view feature, what seems to be impossible angles in the past are no longer an issue. This new D90 will bring your photography to new heights, limited only by your imagination!

I've read about it, and it's okay if you want a camera/video camera. I presently have the Nikon D40, and I love it. I have been into photography for well over 25 years, and I don't find it a necessity to have the live view feature. I do love all the capabilities of the D40. The only thing now, is to add more lenses to my camera case! lol Of course, it is a personal choice, and depends on what you want from your camera. A lot of people still like the aim and shoot digital cameras. I have been very happy with Nikon.
