The Things We Have Learned In Here

I am much better writing about something then talking to someone in person. It is not that I am aloof, it is just that the wrong things seem to come out of my mouth or I just think that they have troubles of their own. Also here on myLot, the fact that I do not have to put in my real name plus my address, and telephone number helps and I can ask for help or give help without feeling nervous or that I am the only one who has this particular situation. I am not a boaster of how wonderful mylot is. I think that compared to others, it is much better in that they do not restrict the topics of politics, or religion or say we have to say "all faiths lead up to heaven" or "all lifestyles are agreeable" in other words we can agree to disagree as long as it is done in politeness. And you know there is a lot of things here to discuss. Now if only someone would go to my profile page and answer the discussions I have zero on. So what do you need help on?

Hmm, I think its a little of both. Sometimes I have problems that I don't know how to present to the people in my life, so I come here first and ask my good MyLot friends what to do, in order to get a few different views on the subject and present it in real life after to that person that I am speaking of. On the other hand, there are things that I feel I can't discuss with the people in my life, either its too personal, something that the person involved already knows about and I want to discuss with an outside person, or online business matters, which I have no one in real life to talk to about and get advice. Then is when I come to MyLot and again, get the opinions from my online friends. I am glad that there is such a place as MyLot. These last two years (I just hit my anniversary again on Saturday) has been a blessing to me. I have found so many wonderful people here, and I can talk to you all about almost anything that happens in my life. I appreciate each and every one of you.

I feel the same way, I am so thankful that I found mylot. I have met some terrifc people here, made some good friends. I have learned alot, and still learning everyday. I feel my time here on mlot has not been wasted, coming on mylot has enriched my life. Some people might not understand that, but us long time members do understand. We always have room for more too. Mylot Rocks.

Its wonderful. Its great to have friends that you have known for a longtime...and its great meeting the new ones. Theres alot of fun and learning...This site was a great idea and yes the best is yet to come...happy mylotting!

Hi krause! I think that mylot gives me a variety of things that I might have otherwise missed if I wasn't here! I have gotten to meet so many wonderful people and make them my friends for one thing! I have learned so many new and exciting things been able to have many interesting discussions some funny, sad, serious and borderline insane! But, all in all this place gives me something special. It gives me the feeling of being connected to people in a very special way, much like the family that I don't have and I will be forever greatful for that!
