Does any body make their own Butter?

I do all the time and i love the taste of it better than store bought. and it is so easy. I just put the cream out in the morning and shake it up before dinner, and most of the time i split it up and add honey to half for honey butter.

Wow, i never thought anyone can make butter. Is it hard to make? Need any experience or maybe talent?:-)). Btw, what is heavy cream, is it like sour cream? Thx.

You can find the cream by the milk in the dairy section. and my directions are in the response above yours. if you need it again ill send it.

I have never had occassion to make butter but my grandmother who lived on a dairy farm used to make it ocassionally. I know the principle but have not had ready access to cream. I have had fresh butter though and I think it is really very good. I'm sure it is delicious on bread. Have fun with your butter adventure.

If you don't have access to a cow. you can get organic heavy cream at the market or grocery store. It not as good a fresh, but it works just fine.
