Oh I have been sick on and off a lot this winter. I am just getting over another bug I caught, still not 100% yet. I hope you feel better soon. Maybe some good hot chicken soup will help as soon as you can hold it down.

Hi Rhonda, I'm sorry to hear that you had some virus attack and diarrhoea. That will make you feel very sickly and want to purge or throw up. Hope you take your appropriate medication and have plenty of rest in between, so you will get a quicker recovery. Last month, I had been having bad cough and a little sore throat and that lasted for about 2 weeks. Thankfully that had cleared up in time for the Chinese New Year. There's lots of virus in the air these days, and we should all take good care of our health. Wish you a quick recovery from your sickness. Hope your dad's stroke condition is improving also. Waiting to hear some updates from you soon about his condition. ~ Victor

Take it easy, Rhonda. Don't overtax yourself until you recover well enough. If you need a maid, I can be one!! LOL. I myself have a maid, but to tell you frankly, I can do a better job than my maid! Glad to hear your dad is improving. Stroke victims have to be careful with their health, so as not to get another stroke. They've got to watch their diet too.

Sorry to hear that you have been sick. My grandson spent the night with me and got sick. I felt so sorry for the little guy, he is better now. I kept him with me and took care of him. His mom was sick plus she had the baby to take care of and we don't want the baby to get sick too. Knock wood, I have been lucky so far this winter. Take care and I hope you continue to feel better.

Hope you get well soon. You had a rather nasty virus. I've been sick for over 2 weeks since some kind of upper respiratory infection and sinus infection. It put me in bed for 5 days week before last. I'm one not to give in easily but it knocked me off my feet. This is the second time I've been sick since Ocbober which is strange since I'm healthy. Our little grandbaby has been so sick with a virus also and under doctor's care. Time to get better.

You bet I did TnWoman. I was so sick like having high fever that was on and off, colds and cough for a week. I had no choice but to stay in bed for the whole week since I felt so dizzy and so weak to stand on my feet, how much more going to work. It was on the news that there was a kind of epedimic during the winter and sadly I think I got it. Actually until this very moment I still have colds and cough. Im still taking some medications and hopefully I will be so well before this week ends. I do hope your better soon my friend. Better take a rest and medicine.

My sons and myself seem to keep passing it along. I was sick for two weeks straight, better for a day and then sick again! It seems to be one of the worst winters for illnesses. Luckily my husband hasn't gotten sick, somehow. He's the only income so we need him healthy! Wish I could feel better for awhile and I'm sure he could get sick for awhile, just to get to stay home. I can't believe what's going around!

It is not exactly afternoon over here, it is about to be day break but yea I did fall sick it was nothing but a simple cold that moved off in a couple of days with only simple bed rest. I had a running nose for a few days after that. However, there were no serious issues with my body around this time. The best part about falling sick is all the extra attention that I get from mom rarely, so it makes me feel good right away generally. Who took care of you? Falling sick is pretty taxing on the body though, you do not feel like eating, do not feel like drinking- it makes you seriously put down all defences and submit yourself to the safety and comforting warmth of the bed and the bedroom.
But on your side it looks pretty bad and I hope you get back to normal and get well soon. Till then you can always mylot and keep up your spirits.
