I want to do a scrapbook for my son !! Please need some ideas!

Hello fellow mylotters! I would like to start doing a scrapbook for my son, he'll be 9 months this month and I would like to make a baby book for him for his 1st year of life. I need some ideas on different designs to do and what kinds of pictures I should include and how many. I know this is alot but just wanna get some brain storming. For example, I know for his 1st birthday I can make a cake out of the paper or get stickers and since I want to do a monkey theme I can get some monkeys on there, then have a picture of him blowing out the candles. Something like that. What kinds of supplies will I need...is there anything special out there? This is just something fun and get everyone thinking of some ideas. My friends tease me because i'm 28 and I have been crochetting for years, I started when I was 9 years old. To me it's relaxing and fun!! I don't know how to make anything fansy but would love to learn new patterns!
