hi jiffys...that truly is wonderful. no better gift for the young boy than to have his father at home to play with for 2 weeks.

I just read the story. It is a tear jerker for sure. I am glad he was able to have his dad their on his special day and share it with his class. His dad is pretty young only 23 so he must have gotten busy when he was 16 but he seems to have done alright with his life and is helping with protecting of the country as well. A big job and I don't think I would be able to be that long away either. Maybe it is different with fathers? I am just glad the son understands why daddy isn't always home.
