Well, yina I have two sim cards. One from aircel and the other one is airtel. I use aircel only because in my college locality it is only have enough coverage when compared to airtel. When I come home, I use airtel for GPRS purposes. But I have a single mobile phone only which is of Sony ericsson brand. I love to spend time in messaging to my freinds. Thanks for posting. Happy mylotting

hi yina. i have four sim cards that are active. for smartload, autoload, expressload and for my personal use. obviously they are for business purposes. then i have four more simcards, touch mobile, talk n text, smart and globe. these are for emergency purposes only like for example there is no signal in one place then i can use the other because the sim cards i used for eloading just stay right in our sari sari store. but really, maintaning a lot is so costly, right?

well, about maintenance, i go with those simcards that i have even without load.. hehehe.. but maybe, i just wasn't able to notice that I am loading each of them even once.. :) but you know what, the thing that's hard having those sims, is for me to carry the cellphones that each has.. oh gosh~~ really heavy.. lol^^

Hello There! Well I had two sim cards before. One is SUN sim card and the other one is Smart SIM. My boyfriend and I decided to get another phone at that time for calling purposes. SUN cellular sim company always has a promo for unlimited call and text. When he was still here in the Philippines, we always call each other. He would always check if I am doing okay or would rather talk to me when he needs to say something important because he finds it hard to say everything through text. I feel the same way that is why we have that sim card. THe smart sim is our official number. Our friends and family knows that number, we always bring that phone with us. It is only last year when we decided not to use SUN sim anymore since he is in abroad already so he use other sim and his smart number which is activated for roaming. lolz. Thanks for the discussion. Happy Mylotting and Have a great day! Cheers!

Now, I have 1 simcard that I used to communicate with my boyfriend, my friends, family and co-workers. Before I used to have 2 simcards but as days go by, I found it not that useful of my other simcard and I used it exclusively to call my boyfriend but there are lots of promos from my service provider so I get rid of the old simcard. So now, I dont have the hard time to load my two simcards. I'm into prepaid by the way.

yes anne.,, and if you will not load the other sim, it will turn out inactive so just useless.. for a non-busy person like you, it's good to have only one.. i just guess.. :)

i guess, in overall, most of the reasons here in responses is that they use for work and if they don't have a coverage from the other sim.. nice one!!! happy mylotting.. ^^

i got only two simcard, globe and smart simcard. I don't like to have lots of simcard because the same as yours it will just end up into the trash can so I don't want to waste money . I have been using my smart simcard for 5 years even it is torn in between, its still functioning. I dont want to change my simcard number because there once an incident that some of my old friends sms me and they were suprised because I still use the number and felt lucky because we can contact each other. It take so much time (and money too)to tell all your friends that you've change your simcard. I got globe simcard because of the cellphone. It was a globe mobile plan. But I am planning to have the cellphone open line so I will not use two simcards but then I will just keep the globe simcard and maybe use it for sometime because some of my friends know the number already. Maybe if there a cellphone that will function really well with both of the simcard will work at the same time I will buy that cellphone..hehehe...

Hi Yana..thats a very interesting question. I got total of 3 simcards. One of reliance, one of tata indicom & one of vodafone. I use the reliance one for chating with my girlfriend since I enjoy free calls from reliance to reliance. My girl friend has also got a reliance one !! The tata indicom one I use as a modem for internet connection in my laptop. Lastly, the vodafone one I use for making normal calls & smses. Thank you...

For this case, I am very very less. I'm no more use cellphone since Jan. 15, 2008 till now and it was already one year, isn't it?. Why I performed that way and what are the benefits of implementing that "weird" way in communication world?. That is my great secret and the only part that I can tell you is only the the benefits of e-communication in e-world. I only communicate with friends and the Friend Network via skype, YIM, Gtalk, AIM and Live Messenger. Including my banking purpose and the e-banking system. Where direct communication is much effective in our online earnings and very firm in network to each other. We enjoy FREE TALKING, no more monthly bills for my e-com. Of course, you asked me about my family connection, the communication way and tools?. A great question and thank you for asking. My answer is, YES, I used the same e-communication tools. Result speaks itself, it is a very pragmatic and effective way of enjoying two (2) way communication. Weird! but that is the reality in my communication world. FREE TALK & FREE WEBCAM.

I have only one simcard and I think that's enough for me. I don't use cell phone very much actually. And I keep on losing my cell phones. But I will prefer to use my old no. even if the phone is lost. Too many simcards will make me confused, lol. I just want a very simple life, hoho~ My job doesn't require me to keep my cell phone open for 24hrs, but still I am not in the habit of shutting down it. So it's enough to own just one simcard, heehee.
