How would you like to die?

Don't get me wrong. I am not suicidal and have no suicidal ideations. I am definitely afraid to die and to loved one's death. God forbid. But this thing is inevitable. No human has ever surpassed death. Given the chance, how would you like to die?

As long as I can say my goodbyes to all my loved ones and be in a dignified state. I also hope that it's not respiratory related like Emphysema, or lung cancer, they do look like they are in so much pain and the suffering is prolonged. I have seen my share form the patients I have handled in the hospital while I was training in my specialty. So, the quicker and the more pain-free, the better. :)

I think we all want the same thing...pain-free. Bet you wouldn't die of emphysema nor Lung CA if you don't smoke...right?

I guess for the most part it doenst matter simply because however it happens is how its goin to happen and it can't be changed ya know..I suppose if I had a choice thoguh i'd like to die in my sleep OR if thats not possible then something quick..doesnt have to be painless cause it'll be quick LOL....
Just out of curiousity, why are you afraid of dying?

i'd like that too but not now..i still have very young kids and i'd like to see them grow and get married. i also want to see myself grow old with my husband and see the world, but not so old. thanks for sharing, by the way.

i've only thought of it as in how i don't want to die, having my throat slit terrifies me for instance. As long as i see my kids grow and fending well for themselves i don't mind how old i am. To die with me my faculties still in tact, and to know with enough time to say my goodbyes but not long enough to sufee or anyone else to sufer watching.

Yesterday evening,i talked with my husband and we referred to this topic.Both of us reached a consensus.The one will be painful when the partner die earlier.i said if you die befor me,maybe i will choose euthanasia.my husband said you would change your mind when you were old.Now i am not afraid to die.i trust the destiny.maybe when i am old ,i will be afraid.LOL...
