My Investments Are Down - What Do I Do to Stop Losing Money?

Friends I'd invested most of my savings in equities and mutual funds and now my portfolio is going very down....could you guys please give me some tips to stop losing money any more....my portfolio is showing more then 40% losses... pl give your valuable advices...how you people are coping with it. Thanks in advance:)

Now the time is to invest money. You are getting equities for very less prices. When it comes to your problems i suggest you to be little patience. Every thing will come up in coming years. Wait for another 2 years. Dont panicky sell. Just wait. If you have money invest now. All the profits will come in your way. Think positively. Nothing is over. Wheel will turn. Whatever is down today will be back to the top.

yeah always hope for the best...i think your right i have to be patient..actually whenever i see my portfolio my tension rises and my invester used to say we will sell old funds and buy new ones ...but i don't know what is going in his mind may be those are his predictions... thanks buddy for ur advice:)
