I need help to name an old movie I remember watching as a child. I think it was a musical - I remember songs. It was about a young boy and a girl. I remember them in a village and then I remember a toymaker. I think the kids had to hide away because there was a rule about no children in the village - something like that. I think they pretended to be toys? Is this right? Please help, if you can.

Could you be talking about "Babes in toyland"? The plot sounds kinda like it, but not exactly.
The kids went into the forest of no return. Then they found they toy factory. It ends up with a toy battle. Been a long time since I have seen it so I don't remember a lot of the plot.

I think the movie is "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". The boy and girl are children who travelled with their father and his friend. The kids are taken when their is a call for sweets in the street and they are taken prisioner. The dad and the friend dress up like wind up dance toys.
