I recently heard of a site called Slicethepie, where you can get paid for reviewing music. I was wondering if anyone had tried it, and if so is it worth trying? Can you actually earn money from it? If so, how much?

Yes slicethepie is a very reliable site, I had 4 payouts in January which are done within a couple of days £5, £12.55, £8.40 and £9.75. Minimum payout is £5. The amount you get for reviewing tracks depends on how good your reviews are. Use the whole scale they give you 1-10 out of 10. I don't just do it for the money it is fun, listening to new artists/bands and you can invest some of your earnings into groups/artists you think have potential. I've currently got an investment on one of the groups, you can make money on your investments. It is definately worth a go.

Wow, that does sound really interesting and it seems like a fun way to make some extra money. I would love to sign up but when I try to I get a "This page cannot be displayed" error. Is their sign up down or something?

I had that problem when I first joined up I contacted customer support and they managed to help me. It is something to to with your internet settings.....I think it will be sorted if you go to tools, then internet options, then the advanced tab and enable FTP..if that doesn't work contact them and they will be ablle to advise you. It will be worth it.

Yes it is worth trying I have been paid by them. Minimum payout is £5.I made £15 in a few days. The more songs you rate the higher your scout rating and the higher your rating the more you earn per track. 1 Stars = £0.03 per track 2 Stars = £0.05 per track 3 Stars = £0.07 per track 4 Stars = £0.09 per track 5 Stars = £0.12 per track There is no limit to how much you can earn on slice the pie, it just depends on how much time you are willing to put into it. The only downside of it is some of the music is really bad. You can check out the post on my blog with payment proof http://kwel-stuff-i-collect.blogspot/2008/12/do-you-like-music-do-you-like-money.html
