My answer is "yes" people do consider me different, but I dont think of myself any different then anyone else, I have lived a slightly different life style then whats considered the normal but over all I'm pretty much the same as anyone else, but I guess I do have some quality's that are different in some ways but different can be good. well tell me do people consider you different in certain ways?

What is normal? That's how I think of the way I go about my life. What is normal to one is not normal to another so i live and let live and want to hope that others would do likewise (which I am fully aware they don't). Many think that is's normal to get married, have a family, go out to work, slave and save for the future but as I see that many of those wholive that way are not particularly happy about it it seems a contradiction to me. Many think I am different because Imoved from my country of birth and combine things from both UK and Italy, where I live, and get, in my opinion, the best of both worlds. Some criticise this but then in the next breath they tell me they would do the same if they'd had the chance. If I can I work at weekends and have days off during the week. I prefer to do shopping whn the shops are not packed full of people like they are at the weekends and you can't find a place topark the care. Others think I'm abnormal for wanting towork at the weekends but it's more pay here on Sundays and when they realise that they think twice. So if being normal means doing what you want to do but then envying others because they have more fun than you do then no I am not normal. I get on with want I want to do and don't bother about what others are doing. If 'normal' is being sterotyped then I'm pefectly happy to be abnormal

I don't know if others see me as different or not. I have always viewed myself as being different since I am not that social a person and never have more than just a very few friends at a time. I know my mind works differently than most since i started out with a jumbled connection between what I heard and trying to turn that into to speech. This resulted in me being very late to start trying to talk and when I did no one could understand me. Eventually I manged to work it out and only had a few things that had to taken care of with speech therapy.

People do view me differently - but I guess that's only natural since I view individuals as different as well. It's just who we all are - different. I would hate to think that I'm "too normal" - where's the fun in that? Thanks for the response on my discussion!
