Queen Mother???

This is really a dumb question, but has she passed away or is she still alive? I have been wondering about this for awhile. I do not remember seeing anything about it if she has passed away, but I do not see anything about her either. I was born in England and then lived there again when I was 12 until I was sixteen. Anyone have any thoughts when the Queen may step down.
