when dreams are getting to hard to chase or follow, would you still pursue your dreams? why or why not?

I think if you really want something, you shouldn't stop dreaming about it, and should keep trying to reach it. Even if it's "impossible", being a dreamer is a great thing: it gives us hope. Hope is something that keeps most of us going, and makes life worth living. When we lose hope, and give up on our dreams, we are helping to rob ourselves of happiness, in a way. Dreams and hopes also serve as a way of escaping reality, and sometimes people need that to help them through difficult times.

escaping reality? is it kind of day dreaming?anyway, do you think a shift of dream would resolve this? like a paradigm shift? if you cant achieve it, then let go, go find another one, just keep on dreamin...

Kind of...daydreaming to be somewhere else. Maybe it's possible to achieve, maybe it isn't. We all need something to aspire to, so if you've been dreaming of something, haven't reached it, and it makes you sad...let go, but keep on dreaming. Or try and not dream of something so specific. That way, you can't really be let down if it doesn't happen. Hope for something more broad...for example: dreaming of making a difference in the world, as opposed to being the president. The first one is more achievable than the latter, and it's something you can fulfill every day. Another example: if you dream of publishing a novel, be happy if you just write something or even if you're published in a web article. It's not the same, but at least it's related to your dream. You can keep hoping to publish that novel one day, but in the meantime, do things related to that dream. Sorry if this doesn't really make sense, or sounds cheesy. I'm a bit tired right now :p

Hello rainzero! I guess as long as it's still a way I would still continue dreaming about it. I know there are times that we will feel hopeless. I felt being hopeless too but I continue dreaming until I reached it finally.

really? even if you feel or even think or believe that there is no end and no light at the end of the tunnel? arent you going back to square one and assess yourself? i wonder.say youre at 28 and still you remain stagnant, dreaming is still being pursued but you feel like by 29, you're still chasing for it? time to change?

Hi rainzero! I guess, if my dreams are a little impossible to follow..I will take a break from chasing it for awhile but will surely continue to do so when an opportunity for it arises. I guess, i wouldn't quit chasing my dream until I still find even just a little hope in my heart. take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

what if the dream youre chasin happened to be not the dream you really wanted?it happens right? such a wrong move leads you to complication. you realize that you wasted a lot already. why dreams are really elusive?

I want to be happy with my life and spend time with family. travel anywhere we want and have a wonderful business that is also successful. I want my kids to have a bright future too. there are a lot of things that i dream in my life that I really want to come true. I want to buy all things that my wife want
