can anyone explain what the star system is?

i've seen the stars on other peoples homepages and have heard that having the stars can make you more money.i was hoping that somebody could explain what they are for,how to get them and how the whole thing works please

Actually the star represent our reputation here but it won't affect your earnings in this site...You'll get it by posting some quality discussions or replies done by you...Don't worry you can get this star someday...Just keep on posting to get a star it should be long and informative ..
