Hello rubypatson! I definitely buy books online! The last 20+ books (I love reading!) that I've bought have all been online. I rarely buy books offline these days. You can find some awesome deals online. I've bought brand new books for about 80% off, it's awesome! Also, I get paid for shopping online, which sweetens the deal :) A lot of sites offer free shipping deals, so that's not a worry, but even if there isn't one, the amount you save can more than make up the difference. The one time that I received something damaged, the store sent out new items to me, before I even returned the damaged ones, plus sent me a prepaid mailing form to send the damaged items back.

Hi again! What is it that you don't think you can do in India?

hey, neither do i, but people around me have tried and now i'm trying to buy good bargin books online too because it's quite safe. sometimes it saves 60% or more. fot those second-hand studying material, it's unbelivablely cheaper. by the way, i don't see why there aren't many books sold online in your country?

Actually so far the only think i bought on line is books. Books are printed, normally free of quality issues. And payment is flexible, I chose payment on delivery. Online book sales usually allows discount. Another benefit of cost. I visited sites for other sales, and i wish to put on line what i want to sell, but still refrained from such deals.

I've bought books online from eBay and Amazon. Not too often but once in a while. I can always find good books locally on any subject that I'm looking for but once in awhile there is a particular book that I need and it's easier to find online especially if it's out of print. I bought three over this last Christmas.

Yes, I buy books online. Never had any problems regarding the payment or the order (although had some adventures sometimes). Until now I tried Amazon, and some Romanian and Russian online shops. I paid by credit card or bank transfer. Some pros: -you can buy them in any language you prefer (not only the language of the country where you reside) - you have a greater choice (including paperback vs. hardcover) - you don't spend time in the maze that some bookshops are - sometimes they are even cheaper than from your local bookstore - you get good ideas from recommendations of other users (users that liked this, also liked...) Some cons: - you pay for the packing and sending (depending on your location, this might make books more expensive to buy online than from your local shop) - if packed inappropriately, the books might reach you damaged - packages might be lost by the post (depending also on your location) Hope this helps.

Books are about the ONLY thing I will buy online. I certainly will not buy any clothes without trying them on first so buying online is pretty useless - though I did buy a pair of new golf shoes on ebay (for my husband). That worked out well considering he has a wide foot and I didn't know that until recently. I have also bought CDs and games but I feel if I were to buy electronics, what do I do if I get it and it doesn't work? I would rather deal with a store close by than have to ship back and forth, which can be costly.

I just bought some from Zooba(well, Book of the Month 2 club) and from Overstock. One should or ought to be here today hopefully. I have anxiously looking forward to it. I also bought two from the individuals themselves and they sent it. I bought two magazines about Obama from Ebay and they came around Thursday. I also buy other items as well.
