About a year and a half ago, I am not one of those penguin lovers. But the whole thing change when I received this text message coming from one of my classmates. It was a text stating some random facts about regarding different animals. But the one that has taken my attention was the random fact about penguins. Well, the text message was no longer available but I cannot forget what I have read in that text message about penguins. Here it is: "Penguins spend half of their lifetime searching for their mate then when they do, they spend the rest of their life with their mate." Ain't it all so sweet?

hi anjel..i didn't know they put so much care into finding their mate. i fell in love with penguins at the zoo. watching them play and slide and swim. i wished we could have some at our house and watch them thru a large window in our own penguin room. hehe. they are delightful.

Well, penguins are not available in our area, even in our zoo. Most probably because of our tropical condition. You were so lucky to see a real life penguin! I would like to see even just for a little while. As for me, my main reason for loving penguins is because of that text message I received. And now I am referring me dearest love as my own "Penguin".

Thats why I love penguins so much. I was so pleased my daughters kindergarten class got to learn about penguins. They divided the class up and taught them about the different types. I was so lucky to be able to help out once a week. The Penguins were my favorites.

Then we've got the same reason why we both love penguins. :) Too bad for me I was not there to participate in their little discussions about penguins. I would like to know almost everything about them. LOL

Interesting indeed. I never knew that. It's sort of like with humans, only they don't have divorces...
