Although, I liked the movie but for me ,it cudnt live to the hype it generated. It won 5 golden globes in one night. The IMDB rating was 8.6/10 The music was good and deserved the accolades

Hello allright, well I had never heard of it until earlier this year and I didn't see much on television about it. I did see the movie, I thought it was good and a little sad. Liked the music but then A.R.Rahman did most of the music and he is phenominal.So no, I don't think it was too hyped but that's my opinion.

Hi ds6413, the movie might be a bit over rated but its a nice watch nevertheless I liked how a "slumdog" became a millionaire :-)

I was surprised to see that people are betting on Slumdog to get all kinds of big awards. I tried to watch it but there was no way I could stay focused. I didn't like that movie at all. I had also tried to read the book but it put me to sleep every time.
