I know, I know, this is another "old" movie I've just gotten around to seeing! I hadn't had as much time as I'd have liked to watch movies for quite a few years but in recent months I've been making up for lost time and I'm trying to watch even more to review in ReviewStream. "America's Sweethearts" starring Julia Roberts, John Cusack, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Billy Crystal is the latest movie I just got around to and can't imagine why I hadn't seen it before now! Oops, I forgot Christopher Walken was also in it. I thought it was really funny and well done, with a cast that couldn't possibly have missed!
Has anyone else seen this movie and if so what did you think?

I saw it awhile back, and even bought it out of Walmart's $5 bin at one point, but I only ever watched it the once. It wasn't a terrible movie, but I wouldn't say it was one of the greatest movies either. It was good, but nothing I have to go see again, you know?

I enjoyed it when I saw it too, just not enough to see it again since apparently, lol. I do like Julia Roberts, but I'm not a huge fan of most of the other actors, I can take them or leave them, you know?

I can't remember if I saw this movie in the theatres or right when it cam out on video. What I do rmember is that there was alot of hype surrounding the movie. Julia was cranking out hit after hit, Catherine was hot, and John was everywhere. I saw them on Oprah talking about the movie and fell prey to the hype and was looking forward to seeing it and really liking it. It was, eh, ok, in my opinion. Not a total waste of time but a definate wait until it comes to video movie.

I thought this was such a cute movie. I had never heard of it and it came on television, so I watched it because I like Julia Roberts and Billy Crystal. I didn't even know who Catherine Zeta-Jones was at the time. I've caught parts of it a few times since, but haven't seen the entire thing again since that first time. Sometimes, there are some really nice movies out there that don't get a lot of "air time". I like "discovering" them.

I like "discovering" movies, too. Sometimes I'm not sure if it was a huge hit that I somehow had forgotten or had been in a fog at the time or if it was just one that didn't get much attention when it came out. This one I do remember from the previews but then I somehow forgot it and never saw it until last night.
