I just watched this movie and i can honestly say i didnt like it much. I dont like the main male character - hes very ummm he rubs me the wrong way ..selfish maybe. And the kids are brats - they appear to need a bit more discipline. Did you like this movie? did you like the characters?

I have read the review and it seem a humour movie. It is not my cup of tea. Not that I don't like comedies but it is not the type of movie that I would usually like to watch.

Its just a involvement of the actor he has done his part effectively thought it was the taste of director differents...some times some character we dont like..here the same think but it s tocuh of the director and actor they expressed the best way which they thought i think, and saying about brats in every film some character didnt showed enough well.... the same way here too..

hi saundyl! well yeah, i do have those feelings some times. you see, i am very picky with the movies that i watch. i don't want to pay good money in order for me to cry or be scared and tensed. all i want to watch are romantic comedy films and films that make me feel good afterwards. i like those that make me carry my smile long after i get out of the moviehouse. i don't like movies where i have to cover my eyes and ears just so i will not be jumpy. yet, i also find that there are characters that are too much for me. they irritate me. i know it is only in the movies, but i shudder to think that there are people like that who exist in real life. after all, most movies are patterned to real life situations. hehe okay, i guess that is my point of view. take care and God bless you! happy mylotting! :D

Umm, Saundy? That is the very point of the movie lol. The main character, Ice Cube, thinks himself a ladies man, and not the family type. The kids are bratty because they don't want their mother to find a new man, they want their dad back. But as you saw in the movie, both the kids and Ice Cube learned a lesson by traveling together. The kids learned that unfortunately, there was no way for their father to come back to their mother, and Ice Cube learned how to deal with kids and be a family man. Although there were several times that I wanted to jump through the TV and give that little girl a backhand to the mouth for talking smart, or a "whoopin" to the both of them for acting a fool; and I still can't get over Ice Cube riding a horse (he's a former rap star), I loved this movie and thought it was very funny.

Exactly, i had the same feeling of yours, more than that hero character, i hated the two kids, they too smart to be kids, when you show kids, they have to have at least some innocence in them, which both the kids lacked, they were more like two spoilt brats or rather two adults only i suppose and i hated that mother character even more, she just wasnt attached to the story at all, either someone else must have acted or someone must have directed the film

I was annoyed with the mom as she acted like her kids were angels after all they did to the guys she was dating.
