Hi TnWoman, I am so happy for you that your daddy is home from the hospital and doing well, I knew he would be ok. The last time someone was in hospital was my hubby when he was knocked down off his bicycle from a hit and run driver, the police never caught him, my hubby was very lucky as his bike went into two halves and his spine was damaged but not permenent, he is now back to work., love and hugs. Tamara xxxx

Am so glad to hear this news. I know how much you care about your dad. Meant to ask you about him earlier and then was sidetracked with a call and left to go babysit. Came home and fell asleep. We came mighty close to having our new grandbaby put in the hospital last week. She's been so sick with rsv. Since she's only 3 months old and there was alot of concern about her being so congested and coughing. Dr. ordered breathing treatments so our daughter did them at home every 3 hours. It was scary there for awhile but she's improving.

hello subha thanks. my Dad had a mini stroke which paralazed his vocal cords. the doctor's had to do a trechetomy on him (i do not know if i spelt that correctly or not) but now he is back home and talking again. the stroke had paralazed him blocking his breathing. so now, he has a new voice box. whoo hoo! and he can talk again. he has home health nurses that are coming to home to take care of him as long as need be. thanks for asking and responding. by the way, i am back again around here at Mylot and i am trying to be active again.

I am so happy for you, I know thats a big weight and worry off of you. I know it was a scary time when my mom was in the hospital, I came on to mylot and asked for prayer too. It helps so much knowing that people all over are praying and caring about you. Take care.

Hallelujah. Bless your hearts I am so happy for the both of you and your family. I am so glad he can sleep in his own bed now. This is great news as many of us gave our best wishes and deepest prayers. My last family member who was is the hospital was my brother in law. Maybe one day I will speak more about this but right now I'd rather not dampen such a cheerful event. I wish you both many more happy times for all to cherish. I am smiling. Thank you!

Rhonda, I am glad and relieved to hear this piece of news from you, and I share your happiness at the outcome. God is merciful and has heard our prayers for your dad. Although he has discharged, you have not said if his faculties are still affected as a result of his stroke. Is his voice-box still affected and his speech slurred in any way? Is he having any problems breathing, and need some form of aid while resting at home? Is he on some kind of medication or blood thinner which he has to take? Whatever the situation may be, as a stroke victim, he has to take good care of his health and diet from now on, to prevent another stroke or any falls if he is on any blood thinning medication. Do take care. Life can certainly be lived and enjoyed when the proper preventions are taken care of. ~ Victor

Hi TnWoman! God is really Good! I am so happy to learn of this wonderful news that your dad finally is home from the hospital. I really hope and pray that he will be stay healthy for a long, long time. The last time I had a loved one in the hospital was October of last year. For 4 months, my grandmother was in and out of the hospital and it was really draining, frustrating and scary. I am just glad now that my grandmother has been miraculously recovering and I do hope and pray that she will really get healthy for a very, very long time. I love my grandmother very much! Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

I am glad to hear that your daddy was able to come home from the hospital after almost 2 weeks. I am sure it is a relief to you knowing he is home. Both of my grandfathers have been in the hospital recently. One was in for about 4 days and is back home on his own. My other grandfather has been in and out several times over the last few months and he is currently needing 24 hour care and they are recommending Hospice for him.

I'm glad that your dad is home and I hope that he is in good health. My dad had his second heart attack about 5 years ago and ended up with quadruple bypass surgery. It was a very scary time.
