New season starting shortly - only "for sure" celebrity dancer I have heard of is Donny Osmond.... give me the barf bucket! THey are already comparing him to Marie!
Anyone heard of others participating? I hope they have a "laugh Generator" like Cloris Leachman so there is reason to tune in every week... at least for awhile!

Maybe this could be the siblings series! What a great gimmick that would be. "Siblings of past contestants compete for the coveted mirrorball trophy."
I do think he will do well. He was always more interesting than Marie, or is that just because I was 10 and he was cute? Also, he has the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat experience under his belt.

That is one of my pet peeves too. When people vote based on who it is or feeling sorry for them rather than their performance quality.
That really cute male model, Albert?, got kicked off quickly because nobody knew who he was, even though he was an amazing dancer. Not fair.

I could never stand Marie!!! Words can't explain (at least nicely) how I couldn't and still can't stand Marie! She always (at least to me and many others have mentioned) just rode in one the brothers coattails with her looks and the "only girl" syndrome. But that is another story!
Danny might be better as he did dance better "back then" and does seem to have a little more movement to him than she did. Guess we'll see.
I disagree - I hope they don't make this a tradition of spouses (LIsa Rinna's husband after her), siblings (donny and maire) and children (can you see Miley Cyrus doing it? She probably would if she was of age!) being contestants. I think that just makes it all about the names as opposed to about the danceing which is where it should be. I think to many peopel vote just on WHO is dancing, not whether they did a good job or not!

I can't remember the names, but yeah, so many were really good but had to have been voted off caue they weren't "known" cause they were really good dancers. It is really hard to judge fairly tho cause they all had to do the same movements, but with the different body structures and ages, it was hard for some to do what others did. Like Cloris Leachman - here this 82 year old, bit over weight woman had to do the same thing as the mid 20-30 slim trim agile women did and I have to give it to her.... she did as well as they did all things compensated.
