I remember my first car, I remember when I first seen it I was embarrassed to have to drive something like that. It was an 89 sunbird, reddish marron! I hate red or moroon cars! But then after driving it for awhile I thought it was pretty cool and I was just glad to have a car (some of my friends didn't have one yet) So they all thought it was pretty cool too. I even took it mudding!!
Needless to say I didn't make it, I got stuck and needed pulled out!

Oh Yes I remember my first car, It was a 1967 Meteor Canary Yellow in color. I thought I had the world by the tail. One day my dad said to me, "Well this winter you'll never have to buy anti freeze like me." I was in my twenties by that time and I wasn't exactly a mechanic but I wasn't stupid either. I thought for a brief minute then I said, "Well how can that be it doesn't have an air cooled motor?, therefore I'd need anti freeze." I'll never forget the giggle dad gave and he said, "Well that's true but as long as you're driving it and the thing never gets shut off there's no need for anti freeze, it'll never get cold."

Hi Annjilena, my first car was a second-hand Datsun 120Y - this was many years back. My dad paid the down payment for me, and I continued with the monthly instalments. And I was really so nervous each time I drove - fortunately it was not a brand new car, at least it wasn't so bad when there were some knocks here and there!
