ok here it is, just because a aunt or uncle buy neices or nephews more make them better then the ones who don't buy things?
i know some can go out and just buy things well others can;t be lucky enough to do that because of bills or whatever?
but should that make a different who rate better ?
none of my kids aunts or uncles just went out and got them things when they were growing up, they did have one uncle and aunt took them ski a few times
but i don't think because the aunt or uncle go out and buy things makes them better and even grandparnets as well

I don't think you should rate family members against each other let a lone base it all on finances. That is just wrong to rate family based on money and if they can buy gifts for one another.

I think the gift of time & love can go a lot further than material things. You can get together with them & have a picnic in the park, bake cookies, have a movie night. I know my girls would rather do something with me than have me buy them something. Toys & such get broken, lost, old. The gift of time will always be there.

I don't think anybody is in the position to just go out and buy for kids these days.We would never allow that anyway with any of ours,as it breeds jealousy and selfish kids,they learn to expect something everytime that relative comes over and that is not right.I suppose you could become favorite of a childs when they are young expensive presents might sway a child but it is not very healthy is it.I think they have to learn true values and learn to love people in the family for who they are not for what they can get.
