Are Metallica done or is Death Magnetic a new beinging?

Well, lets try and forget the Load and Re-load era! Pre Load was fantastic and post Re-load was better. St Anger started the fire burning but still wasn't the Metallica I had come to love way back in the 1980's - has Death Magnetic started them off again? or is it the final straw?
