Is your windows slow or its just mine.

I had to reinstall my XP because of a virus in a previous one. I had Windows XP media center then, now i have XP Pro and its slow and stops time to time and the most annoying thing is the music also gets slow some times. I have the SP3 and i clean and defracment the disk time to time but it doesn't fix anything. any clue whats wrong.

I went to the site and am downloading the activex. I trust it cuz its from microsoft live.I hope it works. Thanks for the response. I will reply if it works

I would suggest that you call a computer expert or someone who is exert on computer since you can't fix the problem on your own. You can also call the windows company for some help. You can also go to the internet and type in your problem. A lot of solutions are in the internet.

i really don'y know that much about the inside of the pc's but i continually clean my cookies and that works ,i had vista but went back to xp its so much better. try a program called c-cleaner thats what i use also you need a good cleaning, i defrag and that works for awhile may you need a new disk $$$$$$ how long have you had the present one, i had to go from cable to dish when i moved and dish can't put a dent in cable which is soooo much faster. good luck

Try to update drivers in the device manager, select the option update through the internet. Then run Windows Update. Check each driver version against the latest version issued by the vendor. Download and install the latest version if any.
