With the onset of the economic downturn, how do you think President Obama's healthcare plan will result? With such a huge deficit, I think he will concentrate on stimulating the economy before focusing on healthcare. That being said, I believe America can take the lead on healthcare by offering it to everyone. If America sets its mind to something, I believe it can accomplish it. It's time for us to stop sailing on our previous accomplishments and to take the mantle as leader of the free world

Nothing is free. 0bama's "free" healthcare plan means that upwards of 60% of what you earn every month will go to taxes to fund this "Free" health care system. No you won't pay any money when you go SEE a doctor, but it's far from free. Say you make $2,000 a month. 60% of that is $1200. Can you live off of $800 a month? Your mortgages/rent amounts would not be reduced. You wouldn't be able to lower your utility bill. All bills you currently have now will stay the same but you'd have half the income you bring home. America will never make it on a "free" healthcare plan. We've got too many abusers of the system which only costs people more money. 60% in taxes for every American wouldn't begin to cover the massive debt that would slowly build up. We've got people going to the ED for hangnails and coughing. We've got people begging and demanding to be admitted to a hospital for stuipd infections and conditions that can be treated by a monkey with a bottle of Motrin. Until you fix America's way of thinking, you'll never fix the health care system.
