Have you ever got in the wrong car thinking it was yours?

A few years ago I had an old Rover Metro which I had parked in town while I did some shopping. I rushed back to my car, worried that my parking time was up. I unlocked it and sat down, but when I flung my bags onto the passenger seat, I thought 'I don't remember my seats being stripey' and then I realized the car was very clean and that it wasn't mine. I felt complete panic and got out of that car as fast as I could!

haha yes i have. and my dad has done it a few times too. not paying attention and having too much on your mind really does that to you. and plus it doesn't help when your exact same car is right beside yours or in the next aisle. but ive definatly done it.

Nice question :) No not really but once i was approaching a car thinking it was mine and i was many feet away from it when realized it wasn't mine. It resembled completely my car in color, shape, condition, paint, etc.

Lol, no, I've never done that although my daughter almost did a few years back. I had a Meastro and my daughter, eho was the about 10 years old reminded me about a magazine I had bought for her, I had left it in the car outside our home. I gave her the keys and told her to get it, well a minute vor so later I heard a car alarm. not to worry, my car did'nt have one, then my daughter came in crying. She had tried to get in another car, the same model and colour parkrd there by visitors next door.
