How politically active are you?

I was just wondering how active people are in politics in their own area? I am a county coordinator for the Campaign for Liberty. Which means I spend a lot of time (as a volunteer for free) being politically active on a local level and national level. Are you involved all the time or just in an election year?

i am not politically active. I dont trust politicians. just they doesnt do any useful thing to society. they full time job is to protect theirr post and defending from opposition. Every person in todays world are greedy. they want to earn..earn..earn... they does not get satisfy. I am bored of reading politicians promises and their failure from my child hood.

That is why I am active. I hold my elected officials accountable. I email them about just about every bill before they vote telling what I think. I encourage others to do the same. I do not endorse any candidate. I endorse people getting active to hold their elected officials accountable. They only do the things they do because we the voting public who pay their salaries let them. I am not going to let them. If more people would not let them....then they would either leave office or start behaving better.

I'm an activist and an alternative news blogger. Since I'm young and can't travel as much as some, I do what I can...everyday. My state...well, they don't do much for me to keep track of. We're pretty independent folks out here in rural Ohio, other than our Department of Agriculture people, there's not so much to protest or try to change. ...I don't STOP keeping my eye out, obviously, just 'cause there's not -usually-. But my eyes are normally mostly focused on the national scheme, or when things are particularly bad/unpleasant in other states. MY unofficial job that I do of my own volition, is to stay as informed as possible s that I can keep others informed as possible...to educate, raise awareness, and inpire people to their own action. I'm happy to say that, while I've only been at this for two years, I seemed to hav made a difference. My blog is fairly successful for the site that hosts it...and I get out and about to express my opinions as much as I possibly can.
