Yesterday I read about a man that was found in NC after being stopped for a traffic violation. Bennie Wint had faked his own drowning 20 years ago in Daytona Beach Florida. This man left behind a grieving fiancee and a daughter. The daughter was only 4 years old at the time of her fathers fake death. He finally settle down in North Caroline and has a common-law wife and also another child.
The article stated that he was mot charged for the 1989 incident.
Do you think he should have been charged with something? I feel sorry for his daughter, thinking your father had drowned, and now she has found out he has been alive all them years.

Actually I do think he should be charged. At the very least he should have to pay restitution to the state because they probably wasted many man hours looking for him. I can't imagine what the daughter is going through. Poor thing!!

That's the way I feel,I believe it would be hard for me to even be able to forgive someone if they did this. I think he should have to pay something to.
