Dish drying

I like to put my dishes into a drain type of board after washing them. It seems easier that way. If they are still a little wet after a while then I will take a towel to them and dry them. Would you rather dry them with a dish towel right away or drain them and deal with them later?

I dry them with a towel right away and put them away, I don't have enough counter space for a drainer

Thanks for replying friend. I guess that if you dry the dishes right away then you do not have to worry about them later.

God dries my dishes unless its a holiday and there are lots more of them. I dislike drying the dishes and wait for them to dry on their own before putting them away.

Thank you for your response swietekfam. I guess that everyone has their different ways of getting the dishes done.

I will either dry them in the dishwasher or I will let them drip dry. If there still wet when I go to put them away then I will towel dry them.

I never dry my dishes unless someone is coming over and I want the counters to look clean and nice. It doesn't take that long for them to air dry. Seems like senseless housework to me. Now that there are only 2 of us hand washing is easy. Back in the day when I had the kids at home and all of their friends I used a dishwasher and waited for them to dry in it.
