Hi ya apples99 Well when I was really small we spent most of the summer on the beach as we lived a 5 minute walk from the beach. When we moved we used to spend some of the time with childminders because my parents were working so much. Then my parents got divorced and we moved house again and so I just hung out with my friends or went on little coach trips with relatives when they came to visit. My memories of the summer were pretty good ones on the whole I would say. These days they aren't so good because the weather has been so bad!!

When I was a child, I was allowed to visit my uncles in another city. I still remembered the days my uncle took me to some scenic places. A long day trip to the outskirts driven by a horse wagon. The country girls wearing long twisted hair with red ribbons was appealing to me. I was treated as a formal guest. For every meal, there was some new and delicious. My uncle was gone several years ago. I miss him very much.
