Storm chasers...

I just seen recently that the new season of "storm chasers" is going to be coming back on soon... I have never seen this show before this year, and they had a couple days of them showing a whole season of this show and to be honest I got hooked.. I really did. It is on the Discovery channel, and we already watch Mythbusters and stuff like that but never really paid attention to this show before now. has anyone every seen this show?...if so do you like it or not? and would you ever be interested in chasing a tornado? after seeing the movie "Twister"... yeah, I kinda thought it would be cool... granted that was a long time ago and I didnt have kids then... now I have my own little hurricanes running around the house...LOL

I have seen this show just one time. It was interesting to see how exactly they go about trying to find these storms. Personally, I want to stay as far away from these storms as possible. Then to see that basically these people jump in a van and drive and drive and drive for hours in hopes that they might find a storm, no, there are lots of things I would like to experience, this is not one of them.

LOL, I know mostly when people hear of a tornado they go in the other direction...LOL but these people dont. thanks for responding!!

I have watched Storm Chasers. I am scared out of my mind of tornados so I don't think I could ever chase them. My husband loves them he would love to be a storm chaser! Anytime they say a tornado was spotted he has to run out and try to find it!

We do not get it here in Discovery. But good that you mentioned this, will try to grab the DVDs if they are available. It sounds really interesting!

I like the film too and I find it very realistic. It's just some kind of modified version of Twister, I think. Enjoy your "chase" there, I also have my share of hurricanes here at home..4 of them in fact.hehehe!

That's a pretty cool show. I've only seen a couple episodes when someone's had it on at my house, but it is a good show. I've always been interested in weather, so I like the storm related shows. I always said I wanted to be a storm chaser when I was a kid, which was funny because tornadoes rarely happen here, and hurricanes don't happen around here. Even rain storms don't happen often here, and when they do, it's pretty much all that they talk about on the news. The only natural thing that happens here are earthquakes, and you can't chase those. lol.
