Where do you often get your last song syndrome from?

You have last song syndrome when you have a song or a tune playing over and over in your mind for a hefty time even up to before you go to sleep without you really be aware of it. I often got mine from tv commercials. The thing that pisses me off the most about it is that I don't really like the song..

yeah commericials will do that to you. best thing to do is find a song that counters it. a favorite song you love that you can drown out the crappy catchy song you just heard. it usually works. example, i love stevie wonder. if that happens and i get a crappy song in my head then i head to youtube and check out superstitious. its a couple a different variations to the song. also i almost i create my own music as well so most of the time i get the music i make in my head. i know those catchy tunes piss you off but whatever your fav music is it will bend it in half. trust.

Most times its from commercials or just regular tv. Like the swifter commercial that plays Baby come back from Player. I start singing it right away. My kids do the same. Other times I will hear people talk about something and it makes me think of a song and then get it in my head.

Yep the commercials..The volume always becomes louder and has a catchy tune..Its part of their marketing ..Hypnotize with a catchy tune and people remember it.I sure do...and yes some are annoying especially when the sound goes up way loud and you are scrambling around for the remote.:)

Usually if i try to sing that song,it leaves a deep mark in my brain so i sing it all the time, especially if i sing it very good.
