Have you ever decided to just not approve a friend request? Did you have your reasons. I like to approve most of the requests. I say the more friends the better!

I approve just about everyone, I don't have time to see what this person is all about, if I don't like what happens afterward I just delete him or her and that is that. Every now and then I go through the list and delete people who are no longer on mylot or who never answer my discussions, most longstanding myloters do exactly the same thing.

I couldn't agree more that the merrier the better. It haven't cross my mind not to approve a friend request since I wish to have more people to read my posts and join my discussions and at the end to have more friends. I don't choose when making friends. I know many people will request my my friendship ... they will come and stay for a while but those that lasts and stays to support me as I do my best to support them are the ones I can really call 'a new found friend'. Take care and sorry for not supporting you lately. I'd been away for sometime. But now that I am back I will do my best to support you again. You've got a lot of posts today. God speed!!!!

I used to pick and choose which ones I would accept, but I have gotten much more lenient on the friends that I request recently. I will pretty much accept anybody and just delete them if they get annoying.

I look at who is requesting and what their main focus is. If they start and respond exclusively to discussions concerning making money, or mostly, I don't generally approve them because I don't respond to most of that type of discussion. It's a waste of my time and theirs to approve such friends because I'm just not interested in that subject. I mean, I am, but most of those things are scams and I don't participate in those types of subjects for the most part.

I have not yet, but I would if I went and looked and the person did not seem serious or if they were just being a mean jerk to people. Or I would refuse someone I saw to be a racist. I would not want to be associated with someone like that. But those are the only reasons I would refuse someone.

Hi bamakelly! I also accept friend request and sometimes I don't even bother to check their profile, I guess we can always delete them whenever we want to. I have 1 pending at the moment, because I'm curious or suspicious, that he became a member two years ago and didn't made any respond. He has started one discussion 2 years ago and no response. I'm not sure if I'm going to approve the request or deny it.
