Summer or Winter cooking?

Of the two seasons of summer and winter would you rather cook during the winter time? I think that I would prefer the winter most of the time. The house just heats up too fast in the summer even if there is air conditioning.

I actually love to cook no matter what season. I'm from Massachusetts originally and I grew up with all those wonderful New England cooking scents going through the house. Lots of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg used in our house. I LOVE using those types of recipes. And in the summer, my favorite thing to make is macaroni salad. I add a lot of things that many people I know have never thought to use before. And, of course, using the grill. You can make just about anything on a grill! :-)

I would rather do real cooking in the winter time as well. Cooking out on the grill in the summer is a great way of getting hot food without heating up the house. Not to mention it tastes awesome. Baking something in the winter really helps not only to warm up the house, but also to make it smell better.

considering I am always sick in the winter time, I prefer to cook in the summer when I do feel better.

This is a toss up for me. I love cooking all year round but it seems like it is easier to cook comfort foods in the winter. Soups, stews, etc....there is nothing like a warm bowl of something delicious to warm you up. Now summer time is nice too. You get lots of fresh fruit and my husband does alot of the grilling, so it gives a break periodically. Both are good but I would say winter is more for me.

Hi. I like both season of cooking. The summer on the grill, can smell the food getting done, and in the winter the smell of it getting done through out my house. I would prefer the winter time in cooking more.

winter cooking would be my favorite, it is good to stand near the fire, moreover, we also feel like eating new and variety of foods int he winter season rather than the summer months
