If you could change the ending....

I just watched the movie American Gangster the other night, and I was disappointed by the ending. I know they wanted to stick to real story, and they told what actually happened from their own point of veiw. But I also knew that I was watching a big budget hollywood movie. I expected an big climax at the end, a big bang, bang, shoot'em up type ending. Frank Lucas going after all his enemies and getting his revenge. Wiping out those that did him wrong! But no!! Instead I saw him get arrested, then team up with the cops and turn snitch. Sitting kicking it with the police laughing and giggling about who they're going to lock up. Big let down to me, considering how long the movie was. So, yeah, if anything, I would have changed up the ending, and given the big american gangster more of a Tony Montanna ending.
