Oh my goodness! All of these products on the above page are being recalled due to the peanuts used in said product....and I can't HELP but notice, that the majority of the products are the "healthy" things.
And also noticed that Hannah Montana brand items are also on the list....man are they selling her for all she got or WHAT?
SO, anything on here that you eat normally?

No there's nothing that I buy on that list. i'm not so sure those so called healthy foods are really healthy with all the additives that are put in them. Boy your right Hanna Montana is really being pushed. My granddaughter is sick of seeing her on even adult clothes. I don't remember any one pushed as much as she is. When she comes down I sure do hope she can handle it.

I didn't realize there were additives in the healthy food, but yeah, I prefer my basic fruits and veggies, and if I still don't feel "healthy", well then I go and buy some chicken cutlet strips, some lettuce, my FAVOURITE salad dressing, "Jamaica Mistake" (hee hee), and some basic croutons, and make chicken caesar salad. M-M!
And Hannah Montana on ADULT CLOTHING? ew!

No,there is nothing on the list that i normally eat...but i just got through reading an article about this salmonella outbreak and they were talking about filing criminal charges against this company in the state of Georgia...as for Hannah Montana i think she's just an over hype 'tween who time should be about out...

Wow, Did you hear which company it was yet? By Criminal charges, I wonder if it was intended, by like a spurned employee, or if they somehow found proof that they knew about it at some point, and didn't fully attempt to stop it from being produced....makes yah wonder.
And too true about Hannah, I mean, she's a great little singer, good breedin' if yah ask me! I hope that Billy Ray realizes how bad it's getting and stops it before her daughter gets hurt....or something I don't know, and by hurt, I mean her feelings, because she's growing up, and soon the toddlers won't like her anymore....

Peanut Corp. of America is a Virginia peanut processing company and maker of peanut butter for bulk distribution to institutions, food service industries and food companies...I hope that we are not getting like china knowly putting out bad products to make a dollar...

Wow, that's such a long list!
And I never knew about this.
Thanks so much for posting!
I just read the whole list, and I see I bought none of these products, lately, so I'm a little bit relieved.
So, you never know what you're buying...how can you avoid purchase these things?Always, you get to know, just after something bad happened to someone. They should increase the safety procedures specially when it's about food, and specially when this food is meant mostly for kids.
It's too bad, we can not protect ourselves from damaged products...

SING IT SISTER!
But I do understand that some parents are just to busy and too high up on the corporate ladder to sometimes even THINK of these kinds of foods (the healthy ones that is) and sometimes they use the excuse of not having time, so the processed foods are easier for them in the morning and blah blah blah, uh, that's why you make it the night before!
Sheesh, I did that when I was babysitting, just in case someone was a sleepy head the next day, and then I wouldn't be rushed.

They just added more items to our list here - ice creams. I've given up trying to keep up with all the recall stuff. I'm just not eating anything with peanuts in it until this is obviously over and all the stuff should have been pulled rather than me having to try and weed it out of my cupboards.

Did they really? Well goodness!
That is a good idea you have there, but remember! It's not just the peanuts that carry salmonella, and it's good to NOT be overly cautious, otherwise people may think you're just paranoid (ha ha).
BUT, the good thing is, that since the majority of it is "health" food and organic type things, what you can do, is do some research, find out whom the supplier is of the specific item (peanuts) and cross reference it. Is it the same supplier? If so, that should help with the elimination.
Another good thing? It shows the expiration dates, so you know which ones have been affected.
Thanks for responding!

I didn't know ice cream cones had peanuts in them!
This worries me, back in Jan. I bought tons of peanut butter cookies from girl scouts...Do you think these are also bad? I don't get them til march. I couldn't look it up because I don't know who makes them or what brand they are. I just know they are from girl scouts. Since I don't get them til March you don't think they have already been made with this bad peanut do you? When I get them should I eat them? I spent $84 on these!!

Oh goodness, well if you happen to have the contact person, I'm sure you can call and ask them about it. I'm also going to go ahead and assume that the batch you'll be getting would be safe. But totally call to make sure!
Thanks for responding!
