Well, actually an old high school friend found me. I hadn't even thought about her in ages. I signed up for Facebook yesterday, and today there she was. And in color too Have you ever looked for anyone? Found them? How did it turn out??

There was a social networking site started for our class reunion this year. I didn't attend the reunion, but I joined the site. I should probably check it again. Sigh. The thinks I fall behind on.

Yes, I have found old friends through social networking sites. Mostly through myspace, but a couple through facebook too. As I already had them on my friends list on myspace I didn't bother adding them to my facebook account. We don't really keep in touch, but it's nice to have them on there so that we can communicate with each other if we wish to do so.

I've found several long lost friends on there, and rekindling our friendships has meant that I've gained one very good friend back in my life who I hadn't spoke to in years. It is a great site for that!

Yes. I haven't signed up on Facebook or Myspace yet, but I did find a couple of people on Classmates.com. So far only 3 people have contacted me through that site - and they were all ex-boyfriends. LOL! One I was very glad to hear from though, we had ended rather abruptly after graduation and then lost touch. He contacted me to bring closure to it all and that was nice. Another was nice to catch up with and that was that. The third was a good friend during school and I'm glad we caught up. Still touch base now and then.

I have actually reconnected with several friends, some of whom I have talked to in some 20 years. It's really be quite the experience. Like one woman who I had lost touch with in high school, who I found out was actually living less than a half mile from where I had been working for 6 years. I also found one woman who was my best friend for most of high school. We had a falling out and talked maybe once or twice since graduation. It was great to hear from her and know that she was doing well.

Even though it feels like a long time when I think about it, it hasn't really been that long for me since I was in high school (9 years ago the end of the month). When I signed up for FaceBook a few months ago, I found many of my high school friends were already there. Most of them had MySpace profiles too, as I did; but the format there was too hard for me to connect with people that I knew, at least for me. I talk to three of them at least once a week, but its good to see what the rest of my class is doing now that we are grown and out in the world.

Yes, it's gone both ways with me on facebook and myspace. I've been found by a few, and I found a whole bunch. I love that!

What a coincidence. I joined Facebook a long time ago on an invitation from a friend and then didn't pay it any attention for a year or so. A couple of months ago some of my relatives popped up and I started spending more time on it. Two days ago a classmate from my high school got ahold of me on the site. It never fails to surprise me who might find you on these sites.

I have had several people from high school find me on myspace. We are friends on myspace, but we really do not talk at all. I think it is cool that an old friend found you so quickly.

I have found high school and college friends (or they have found me) through mySpace, LinkedIn and Facebook. It has turned out well. These forums, especially Facebook, let us communicate quickly and feel that we are still keeping in contact instead of just wondering what's happened. I even found a friend in Australia.

Yes, thanks to Myspace and Facebook, hubby and I are both getting back in touch with friends we haven't seen or spoken to in a few years. Hubby more so than myself. I did find a couple old high school friends, we chatted awhile, and they're still on my friends, but we don't chat as often as we did at first. Hubby's friends though, will message him every chance they get. One even added me, I had known him way back when, and he's talked to me a bit too.
