Why to run after money?

People cannot take any money or wealth with themselves after death. However, many people spend their whole life just for earning money. They never even think what to do with that? Ultimately, one fine day the man passes away, and the wealth is possessed by somebody else. If this is the truth of life, why can’t we enjoy it with whatever we earn easily?

Yes, if there is real need, everyone has to run after money, as there is no alternative. But unnecessarily becoming greedy is not good. That puts off the lights of the life, which is very precious.

It is true that we are often inspired by greed for more money. I chase after only what I need and leave the rest of that race for other people to run. I would rather spend my time chasing after the things I enjoy and spend time with family and friends doing what I love to do.

Yah exactly so. That is quite meaningful. Otherwise your whole life will be over in search of money. What's the use?

Happiness is the only thing people should chase, and its a fact that sometimes money can bring you happiness. For example if you are hungry and cannot afford any food and if soembody gives you 5 dollars to get some food, than you can be happy because you have food.

I think somehow the essence has not reached you properly. Actually, by saying running after money, I mean why to run after more money which you do not require for your smooth living. If you do so then you won't be able to enjoy your earning. What's the use then?
