I love "Animal Planet", I leave the telly on this channel all day. Right now there ia a program about alligators on. Early this morning they showed a bunch of freaky and unusual animals with strange deformaties like a cow with eight legs, and the people who collect these unusual animals. They showed two-headed turtles too. The SPCA shows, like the one broadcast from Houston, TX, have a lot of heartbreaking stories. I love to see the animals that recover and get really good homes where they are loved and wanted-there is nothing better for the heart. What do you like to watch on television?

I love crime dramas, such as Law & Order, Without A Trace, NCIS, and so on. I don't really know why exactly or what it is about the shows that really get to me - but they're so emotional! And it doesn't help that I want to go into the criminal justice field, too (and that is probably one of the reasons that I enjoy these shows so much). Plus, they keep you guessing & at the edge your seat - how amazing! I'm also shamelessly addicted to teen dramas, like Degrassi: The Next Generation, Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, and so on (although I REALLY dislike "The Hills", "The OC", and "Laguna Beach"...ugh!) :/ I will watch pretty much anything, so long as it's not reality television (ugh), game shows, or daytime talk shows.

maezee, I love all the Law & Order series. I do love a good crime drama ever now and again. I am not much on teen dramas, I'm a bit out of touch for them; nor do I enjoy most game shows. I do enjoy daytime talk shows whenever I can squeeze them in. I am not watching the networks much these days but premium stations instead so I cannot watch all I like when I like.

Good to know you're also a L&O fan. Personally, my favorite is SVU (Special Victims Unit). ;) & I loved having cable, when I had it, because they aired shows like L&0 ALL the time on channels like USA and TNT, so you didn't have to wait for premieres on regular non-cable channels.

I like to watch documentaries. I'm somewhat obsessed with both the learning channel and the discovery channel i like reality news shows ( perhaps a little i should ) I watch very little standard TV although i admit to liking Leverage and the United States of Tara a little more than i should but 90 min of trash TV isn't terrible i also watch Munk but don't consider him trash.

Well, cripfemme, you are the ultimate reality fan. You were into reality documentaries before it was popular; a person way ahead of the times. How cool is that!

Oh yes, I love Animal Planet too. Did you see the Puppy Bowl on that channel? I like to look at Animal Cops and Animal Precinct, I like all the documents on Animal Planet, I had to stop looking at it once that was when Steve Irwin got killed, he was one of my favorite people and I just couldn't take it after he got killed. Another show I liked on Animal Planet to it was Meerkat Manner. I also like to watch TruTV. And the A&E channel, Lifetime, I look at CNN News a lot too and I can't forget the Sci-Fi channel there are more I just won't bore you with all of them.

Hey there, Chevee! Good to be home. Had a great time in Dallas--wonderful hotel. I love all you mentioned but I have rarily watched the Sci-Fi channell. I missed the Puppy Bowl but think I may try to bring it up online. I like CNN news early in the morning when I'm at work; the early morning crew get punchy and are totally comical. Looks like we have lots of quality television viewers, I'm impressed!

I usually watch television for the news reports but from time to time, I am lured to watch game shows, one or two tele-novelas, singing competitions (such as American Idol, Britains Got Talent, and our local singing talent searches) and reality shows. But when my nieces and nephews are with me, the television is tuned in mostly to cartoons and other kids oriented shows.

eichs1, I love tele=dramas too. I admit that I too love "So You think You Can Dance", "Dancing with the Stars" and any "Idol" show. I still have a teenager who loves the cartoons as well but I get aroung that by having two televisions.

My son is a big House fan. I watch House when there is nothing else on, it is a very funny show but I think it is suppose to be serious. Missed the puppy bowl, may pull that up on the net because sounded interesting.

Yeah Dr.House is a funny guy and probably not meaning to be but the first show I saw Hugh Laurie on was "Friends" as the english guy(he is british) who was on the same plane, sitting next to Rachel when Rachel was going to tell Ross she was still in love with him.

I tend to watch DVDs and videos more than TV. But I'll watch a chat show if there are good guests. And the occasional really good documentary. And sometimes, an especially good comedy show, or drama series, and of course, movies.

Anil Kapoor - Inian Actor, Anil Kapoor, one of the stars of the blockbuster, Slumdog Millionaire.
Do you watch Regis and Kelly, CarlHalling? The had Anil Kapoor from Slumdog Millionaire on this week and that show was awesome. I have been a fan of Anil for a long time, he is a great actor plus he represented India's film industry exceptionally well. I am excited that he is touring the USA. I guess you figured out by now that I love talk shows, LOL!

I watch any channel as long as there's a comedy on. I don't like drama movies, I don't need any more negative thoguhts... And action movies are quite boring... so whenever I watch the tv I like to watch something that lifts up my mood. I watch a channel called Procinema, from 9 - 10 pm they have 2 comedy shows all the time, they change it periodically, but they keep the same hours. That's the hour when I'm in a good mood, I always look forward to it :) There's another show I watch everyday... hmm how can I translate that... well it's sort of a matrimonial show... it's fun to watch, entertaining... I don't watch animal planet that much... mostly because they show all sort of insects which I hate... But don't get me wrong, I love animals, just some of them are rather unpleasent to look at... And I hate to watch them get hurt. Whenever I switch to animal planet I manage to catch those gross moments when they eat one another or when they perform surgeries... :| I'll stick to the comedies... Oh but I do like those "weird fact or weird fiction" short moments. Those are interesting.

The more things change , the more they remain the same. When I was young , i had many t.v. shows to watch but I really enjoyed seeing movies on t.v. and now 35 years later, I still enjoy watching movies on t.v. But now they are uncu and commerical free.

Sometimes it's worth paying for programming just to watch your movie all the way through without interruptions. I do like to catch an ocassional movie myself. I find that more and more I turn to the internet to see movies of my choice whenever I want to watch them. The Net is taking over my life. LOL!

My family & I are getting used to watch the news program. We watched it because we love to update our knowledge day by day. Beside, we consider that there is no educative & quality program in other channel. I love international news so much & often find myself being engrossed in front of TV because of it! :)

With the world economy being so fragile, you almost have to be glued to the tube to keep up with current changes. I like international news too because I find it difficult to understand what is happening in my country if I do not know what is happening everywhere else. Quality television, Putranda.

rakeshlalwani, you are Nikhil all over! Nikki was my co-worker up until December when he left to return to India and check out the girl his parents arranged for him to meet. If he likes her, he plans to get married. Nikki watched the news, B4U music videos, Discovery Channel, and Cricket. It was fun watching television with Nick; the office misses him a lot. I think of him whenever I watch one of his favorites.

Aside from MTV and other music video channels, I also love to watch HBO, Cinemax, Star Movies and other movie channels. We have a dvd player but it's still in the shop for so long now and we have no other resort to watch movies but the cable. I sometimes watch National Geographic and Animal Planet but not so much.

I have a very diversified taste in television. As a stay-at-home mom, the tv is left on all day as I do my household chores. During the day, it's usually on ABC where I can watch "The View" and scan the soaps. If I'm watching at night, I'm usually watching some type of sci-fi/fantasy show on various networks (Heroes, Lost, Supernatural, Ghost Whisperer, Sanctuary on Sci-Fi Channel, etc.) or mysteries or dramas (Bones, House, Psych and Monk on USA, etc.) And every once in awhile I'll catch one of those silly reality shows on VH1 or on Bravo if I feel the need to laugh at people's outrageous responses to various dilemmas. My husband usually keeps our tv in the bedroom on CNN or the History Channel. And of course, if OU football is on the box, everyone in the family is sitting, watching and cheering (and even groaning, at times).
