Have you ever hidden to avoid someone when you're out?

I have hidden from people before. There are just some people I know who can talk on and on and on for hours without even giving you a chance to say, "Hey - I gotta go!" They are sweet people but when you want some time to yourself or have to get somewhere soon it just isn't a good time to run into them! I don't have the ex-problem as I haven't dated around here (or at all for that matter). I usually feel bad afterwards, but if it was one of the few people I don't like then I wouldn't feel bad at all.

Yes, I'm not too proud to say. I avoid people and situations that are sure to be toxic. No longer do I try to be overly kind to everyone I meet, only to the ones I care to meet...LOL! I have become a lot more discriminating in my later years and I've gotten a bit short for the dumb stuff. I do not hide so much anymore, I just speak and go on; if I am hiding, they are controlling my life and that is a non-starter.

There have been times that I walked into a store, or another aisle in a store to avoid seeing someone that I didn't want to see.

I've hidden from someone before when I was in town. There is a person, call Rick, who I hate with every inch of my body but for some reason, he really likes me and keeps talking to me. I saw him coming up the road in town but he hadn't seen me so I dived into a game shop. To my dismay, he walked into the same shop so I had to edge my way round the shop so that he didn't see me and then run out the shop when it was safe.
